I had this video when I was a little girl. It was where I learned the basic history of gymnastics. I used to watch it over and over again!

It's made its way onto youtube now and I thought I'd share the links for anyone who was interested in watching.

It's an American production and has an American perspective, but it also covers a lot of international gymnasts.

Also, just as a note to the Admin/Mods, it might be helpful to have a Video/Picture forum where we could share videos and pictures of interest. There's a lot of gymnastics on youtube, including competitions and fan montages.

As per the title, who are your favorite gymnasts past and present?

Right now, I like Nastia Liukin, Anna Pavlova, Ksenia Semyonova, and Jiang Yuanyuan. There is also an American junior gymnast coming up - Samantha Shapiro - who I like very much. Her form is beautiful!

As for past gymnasts, I really like the Soviet greats: Elena Mukhina, Olga Mostepanova, Natalia Ilienko, Oksana Omelianchik, and Svetlana Boginskaya. But I think my favorite was the Romanian gymnast Daniela Silivas. In the ...
